SensIR Technologies, originally Spectra-Tech, was founded in 1979 to manufacture and market the Barnes Analytical product line of infrared sampling accessories, building a considerable reputation for its skills in FT-IR Microscopy.
SensIR Technologies LLC was established in 1998, specializing in highly specific FT-IR Spectroscopy and Diamond Attenuated Total Reflectance (ATR) to analyze and identify solid and liquid substances.
Its scientists and engineers customized and simplified the technology, bringing it to a wide range of markets so that it became an essential tool and technique used by a range of specialists, from highly qualified spectroscopists to emergency responders.
