Smiths Detection hosted a major conference in London to discuss how Industry and Governments worldwide can work together to respond to increased security threats. Combined with an exhibition of current detection and screening systems, the event focussed on innovative security solutions and discussed the accelerated development of technology to anticipate future needs. The Home Secretary used the forum to make a major policy speech on the UK Government's approach to homeland security issues.
